A very nice client supplied photo of a hybrid house/traditional cut suit in VBC 125 (dark navy) cloth
-the jacket has a narrow 2" lapel which is a house cut detail
-the jacket length is more of a traditional cut length
-trousers made with side slant pockets and less aggressive taper (traditional cut)

Fall crombie in Tweed
You can never go wrong with a full suit, but why not mix it up with separates. Or even with a crombie coat paired with odd trousers, for a smart look that has more personality than a full suit. The Thick as Thieves crombie is meant to be worn over a shirt, rather than over a suit. So it replaces your suit jacket as one's outerwear. This coat is made with a lightweight suiting tweed (called Tweed 5 in the fabric section), it is not a heavy cloth, but heavier than most of our suiting options. It is a midweight fabric, approx 12-13oz and is perfect for fall temps. This cloth is a complex plaid pattern that is bold yet seen from a short distance begins to appear less patterned. It is a cool grey palette with a subtle orange overcheck running throughout. The fabric is pattern matched wherever possible as shown in closeup pics. It is paired with a rust brown tweed trouser. The coat is a 4 button closure with hidden front fly. Angled pockets with ticket pocket, 2 buttons on sleeve, and a higher button stance with velvet half collar.

CT UK cloth in action, at skinhead reggae weekender
As you can see the CT UK has a great tonik effect, CAUTION: may not be appropriate for the workplace unless you take the skinhead train to work! Fabric is worn in my trouser (left on top pic, far right on bottom)

Classic Skinhead suit Petrol Blue
Cool shot of the classic late 60s "skinhead suit", meaning it has high button position, narrow lapels, angled pockets w/ticket pocket. Fabric is the Petrol Blue Sharkskin. Definitely a social occasion suit, dress to impress next time Derrick Morgan or Roy Ellis come to town for a once in lifetime gig!!

3 button suit in CT UK
This is the new cloth called CT-UK, now available. It is a medium all season weight wool, very much like a "tonic" cloth, with a high sheen. Color is in the same family as petrol blue, it's similar but not the same. I think this is more blue than the petrol blue sharkskin and would almost say the color is not too far from what is called "airforce blue" (tho has more grey in the cloth than airforce would). This suit is high buttoning, true 3-button suit with ticket pocket and hacking pockets.

Navy jacket (cloth sold out now unfortunately)
For a long time this was the most popular navy cloth, but is currently sold out and not restockable (as it had been for a couple years). Camouflage trousers to be worn at wearer's own discretion!!

New and fun trouser detail...Functional cuffs!
Something new you can request to customize social suits.....trouser hems with a "functional cuff" detail, similar to jacket sleeves. The buttons open/close like sleeves, but just as functional cuffs on sleeves, DO NOT REQUEST THIS DETAIL if you are not 100% absolutely sure of your inseam measurement. Definitely not recommended for first orders, and I will deny first time orders this new detail. This is something for those who have dialed in their exact inseam. Also of note, this definitely needs to be made on trousers with NO BREAK or higher inseam, any kind of break and I think it ruins the overall look, but perfect for those spring MAN-PRIs I knew you've all been secretly wanting.

VBC 130 in action
This is the #130 cloth which is a very vibrant blue navy (bottom color truer indicaton of fabric color). This is a good example of the cloth outdoors in shade, the fabric will appear much brighter in light than shown here. It's a good fabric for less traditional work environments or social suits.

Separates suit in flannel
We Love Love Love separates suits at Thick as Thieves. I think it's a great way to look smart with just enough casual vibe. It's also the best way to expand your wardrobe without buying anything new if you have a few suits to mix/match from. This example is in flannel, navy flannel jacket with burgundy flannel trouser. It's personally my favorite color combo to pair together and it's nice to see W also feel the same and he looks to be carrying it off with aplomb!
Tweed Doublebreast Suit
A great shot of a double breast suit in windowcheck "Tweed #5". This is how we feel a DB should be worn!! The warm chestnut shoes compliments his suit perfectly, very nicely done!
